Aqua One Nitrate Pad is a tightly woven chemical filter pad that helps to absorb nitrate (NO3). Nitrate can cause kidney, liver, and eye problems for fish, as well as suppress their appetite and prevent their gills from absorbing oxygen from the water. The use of a Nitrate pad can reduce the frequency of water changes.
You can easily cut the Aqua One Filter pads to size to suit any filtration system and assist in maintaining ideal water conditions.
