Indian Ring-necked Parakeet belongs to dimorphic species defined based on the bird’s sex. The male bird has deep red beaks, black facial markings and three bands of colours around their necks. On the other hand, females lack facial and collar band colours. However, they do have a slight darkening of colour around their neck. These variations are common; the standard shade is bright lime green with yellow rings and blue tail feathers. Visit our store in person to find the best bird species for your home.
